i'm not from around here...

as my cousin said, "don't worry. nobody is going to mistake you for a local anyway."  gracias.

it's like 28 degrees here. Oh, that's CELSIUS. Anyone know what that is in F?  I don't. But my dashboard widget Unit converter does... and that's 82.4 degrees. And you know what? people are freaking wearing JEANS, long sleeves and/or a jacket and a scarf. always a scarf. and i tried for a couple weeks now to work the style here, thinking my body would adjust. it didn't in fact, it rebelled. and the acne on my face could prove it. i just think spanish people don't sweat like me. well, we know a lot of americans don't even sweat like me. but really, it's almost painful. So yesterday, I decided to be me. And not care. Why suffer through the heat? i would literally wince with heat. (yes, i said wince. 1 point for j) and i rocked shorts. and a tee shirt. and sandals. and it felt good.

though i did pack a scarf in my bag...

  1. it's true - spanish people can't feel heat. i think their body temperature is much lower or something.
