Stories from senorita.

Conversation with one of my students... From my point of view:
Scene:  I had translated the word for games: juegos.

A girl asked me, "Senorita, but isn't that the word for Jews?"
Me:"Jews? I'm sorry, what did you say?"
Girl: I thought that's the word we got for jews.
Me:No, uuumm, a person who is Jewish is judia.
Girl: No, jeeewwwws.
Me: (Now, I realize that she is flipping through old vocab... FOOD vocab... oh crap. she was saying JUICE.)
I say: Oooh, juice. The word is jugo. Not juego.

Face turns red I'm sure.
But I swear she was saying Jews. No? ok.

And we move along...
