it is the little things.

mom moment 397: i got out of the shower and realized i hadn't rinsed out my shampoo.
mom moment 398: i sprinted outside to the garbage can to make sure the last bag of poopy diapers made it before the can was emptied. i was really proud of myself i made it with time to spare...

[insert baby wail here. waaaaah!]

this weekend i was out in tejas, that's pronounced TAY-hoss. i met some pretty wonderful people there.  one of my new friends said something to me that stuck. he said that he thinks that too often people sell themselves short of the fun that is life. they don't see the little things as the adventures and fun that God has set out for them. if you believe or not, it's true. we are often a people who look beyond the beautiful things in life that are so smile worthy and such treasures.

today, i got to walk to the park, TWICE! i watched my little buddies make rock families. and i got to snuggle with a baby and make him laugh by tickling his chin. wonderful!  i got the chance to have lunch with a special friend and had Chinese for din din.

i want to look beyond to the truly little things in life. and let myself love the life that has been set before me.
