i like rooftops and balconies.

and that's a good thing because there are many of those here in barcelona.

one of the most peaceful places i have found is the rooftop of where i am staying. sometimes, when i go to collect the laundry, i just wait a couple extra minutes. listen to the waves. watch the stars. i think it'd be a lovely place to journal.

the other day, my friend and i ate lunch on her rooftop. aside from a delicious meal (quiche!) and great company, we had a fun view around us.  i like.

 we practice our cooking at lunch time. :)
