it's a quotation, not a quote.

one time, in grad school, my professor would start class with quotations. we all had to choose a week where we picked and wrote a quotation on the board. it could be inspirational. or thought provoking.  my week, i chose this one: You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf. -J.Kornfield.

i'm learning that life doesn't slow down. the challenges don't cease. the waves don't stop. but i can change my attitude and learn to surf. ya know, adjust. be flexible. work hard and get over it. besides, everyone loves a surfer.
