The Scarlet Ambassador legacy lives on...

I thought running into someone in Heathrow Airport who recognized me from giving them a tour at Rutgers was good... but my days as a tour guide live on. And it just keeps getting better.

Picture the scene: The changing of classes. Some kids begin to enter my room. Now approaching, two girls, one with something in her hand. Seems like an over-sized postcard of some sort.
"Srta. Hardie, is this you?" She asks in disbelief.

I look down and in a high shrieked voice respond in just as much disbelief. I see myself under her finger, in my red RU zip up fleece, posing with the rest of the tour guides... hair just a bit shorter than it is today.  Oh yeah, that's me.

Yes, those are from the old days! I respond.

She goes on to tell me how her sister went for a tour and how they sent her a Thank You post card. Well, now I'd like to thank YOU, rutgers, for this wonderful smile you've brought to me.  Oh the glory days.
