i promised myself that since i'm only part time, i would use my time really wisely. i told myself i'd leave school early on fridays and lesson plan at an alternative location. today i stayed at school until 2:30 (because i had to lysol all the desks, redo my h.w. board, correct papers and insert grades, and ya know, get my shtuff together). so got home around 3. then i had a snack. then i realized i hadn't eaten lunch so i ate some lunch. watched a bit of that 70's show. and THEN, i remembered i was supposed to be being more productive.
but sometimes i just don't want to be. there's a book called the First Days of School. It puts a stress on the fact that successful people do the things that they don't want to do. But they know it needs to get done so they do it anyway. And that's all i'm going to say on that topic.
nonetheless, i came here onto the interweb, replied to some emails and checked out some old blogs. one year ago. i was in spain. blogging about life. it was silly. i had some silly things happen to me. and that inspired me to write about life today.
but i don't want to blog about school... for many reasons including the small chance that someone from school will find this blog and then it could get weird... but i mean, i've got other things in my life, right? well, today, i did tell my grandma that the only things i have going for me right now is teaching and my wedding.
so let's talk wedding. OOORRRRR not. let me just leave you with 3 words: martha. stewart. wedding. dotcom. ok, 4 "words." *sigh* a girl can dream.
